Taped Seams
The seams where pieces of fabric are brought together are the most likely spot for moisture to intrude into a garment. The seam taping process prevents this by making the seams as waterproof as their surrounding fabric. Seams in 686 garments can be fully taped throughout the garment or taped only at critical areas to further ensure quality workmanship and guarantee waterproofing.

GREAT PANTS
I previously had the 3-1 smarty, actually my last two pairs were 3-1. But after riding with them for a while I felt they got heavy and to bulky. Switched it up to these and I couldn’t be happier.
