Climate Transition Action Plan

Westlife Distribution, LCC (“Westlife”) is firmly committed to environmental stewardship. Building on our Environmental Management Plan, this Climate Transition Action Plan sets out a clear, actionable strategy for achieving our greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) reduction targets.

GHG Targets & Baseline Emissions

Westlife has set the following science-aligned targets to support the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C.

·       Scope 1 & 2: Reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2032 from a 2024 base year.

·       Scope 3: Reduce Scope 3 emissions per dollar revenue by 58% by 2032 from a 2024 base year.

Climate Strategy

Westlife is committed to achieving science-aligned greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets by prioritizing low-carbon materials across Westlife products, reducing waste throughout manufacturing, and optimizing energy and logistics practices across our value chain.

1.     Renewable Energy

Westlife’s Operations Team will assess the feasibility, availability, and cost implications of procuring renewable energy from local providers. This evaluation will inform location-specific renewable energy adoption rates. Where direct procurement is not feasible, we will explore the use of Renewable Energy Credit (REC) schemes to support progress toward renewable electricity sourcing.

2.     Low-Carbon Materials

Westlife prioritizes the use of recycled and lower-impact materials across its product portfolio. The Supply Chain Team collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to develop innovative products using upcycled scrap fabric, reducing material waste and associated emissions. To inform material selection decisions, Westlife’s Product Development and Supply Chain Teams measures the carbon impact of outerwear shell fabrics using the Higg Index, enabling comparison of GHG emissions per yard of fabric and supporting future season planning based on carbon performance criteria.

3.     Efficient Packaging

Westlife minimizes packaging-related emissions by using master polybags, rather than individual polybags, for units sold to specific retailers. Our Product Development Team will continue to evaluate and implement additional packaging efficiency opportunities to further reduce material use and associated emissions where feasible.

4.     Supplier Engagement

Westlife’s Supply Chain Team will actively engage with key suppliers and manufacturers to assess and audit their greenhouse gas emissions, and to support the development of emissions reduction strategies aligned with best practice. We will prioritize collaboration with our largest supplier to identify opportunities to improve operational energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and advance low-carbon practices.

5.     Efficient Shipping

Westlife prioritizes ocean freight over higher-emissions transport modes whenever possible. Our Operations Team will evaluate the emissions impact of air freight within our logistics footprint and identify opportunities to shift shipments to lower-impact transportation options.

Implementation & Engagement

Westlife will embed these actions across its operations by assigning responsibility to the Operations, Supply Chain, and  Product Development teams to lead initiatives under the Climate Transition Action Plan. Engagement with manufacturing partners will be led by the Supply Chain team to advance external emissions reduction initiatives that significantly contribute to Scope 3 emissions.

Governance & Review

Westlife will continue to monitor its annual GHG emissions and track progress against relevant reduction targets. This Climate Transition Action Plan will be implemented across all operations and reviewed and approved by the Leadership Team every three years to ensure its ongoing effectiveness and relevance.
